Location:

We are located just above the famous Al Khader Street in the heart of Salt, historically, the first capital city of Jordan.
Villa Shams is a traditional style, hundred-year-old house, which used to serve as the first pawnshop in Salt.

Since 2021 Salt has also been included on the UNESCO Cultural Heritage map as a centre of Tolerance and Urban Hospitality

The landmarks of the city can be reached in a couple of minutes, on foot, via many old stairways.

The distance to Queen Alia airport is 43 km,

to Jerash or Amman 31 km,

to the Dead Sea 40 km,

and to the Red Sea 288km

Rooms:

Our 4 rooms have been sensitively renovated to reflect the traditional way of life with the
added feature of a simple, small, en-suite shower and wc.

This feature upgrades the traditional home which would only have furnished a communal “hammam” or bathhouse for its guests.

Each room is 12 sqm (Honeymoonsuite) - 24sqm in size,
with Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryer, and bathrobes.

Facilities:

A breakfast area and lounge are situated in the inner courtyard area which features the additional attraction of a roof terrace.
